There has been plenty of criticism directed at Millennials from the Baby Boomers in terms of work ethic, attention span, narcissism, and hobbies. Conventional wisdom has suggested that, at least in the manufacturing realm, the Millennial generation isn't ready to take over for the mantel of exiting Baby Boomers. But, as Dr. Peter G. Martin, VP of Business Value Solutions at Schneider Electric argues, these supposed 'character flaws' in the younger generations may be exactly what the future of manufacturing will need.
